Quick Reference Minimum PC Hardware Specifications for All Interpac Products

1. TELTRAC, Trac-Record, Agentview Standalone Systems

Pentium-III Personal Computer (dedicated), with MS-Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows NT Workstation V4.0 SP3, Win 2000 Pro or Win XP Pro, and equipped to meet the following minimum specifications:

  • 128Mb RAM on board

  • One parallel port
  • Two serial ports PLUS one dedicated mouse port
  • 2 GB hard disk
  • One 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive
  • One CD-ROM Drive
  • Super VGA Monitor (at least 800x600 resolution)
  • 56 KBPS Internal Modem, connected to direct telephone line for remote support
  • Optional high capacity backup storage device (i.e. Zip drive, Superdisk, etc.)

3. TELTRAC-DNS, AgentLink, or ANY TELTRAC, TELTRAC-MSiP, or AgentView Systems in Multi-site or Client-Server configuration

3.1 Server:

Pentium-IV Personal Computer (dedicated), with Windows 2000 Pro and SQL 2000, and equipped to meet the following minimum specifications:

  • 2 Gb RAM on board

  • One parallel port
  • Two serial ports PLUS one dedicated mouse port
  • 100 GB hard disk
  • One 3.5" Floppy Disk Drive
  • One CD-ROM R/W Drive
  • Super VGA Monitor (at least 800x600 resolution)

3.2 Each Client:

Pentium-III Personal Computer (non-dedicated) equipped to meet the following minimum specifications:

  • Two serial ports PLUS one dedicated mouse port

4. Other Items and Important Notes for ALL SYSTEMS

  • For locations where the mains power supply may be unstable, an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with power conditioning is specified to ensure normal operation of the PC.

  • Note that the minimum specifications shown here will readily accommodate the majority of applications. However, for certain individual high-demand applications Interpac may recommend higher specifications.

5. Notes for DNS and MSiP Systems

The standard User Interface included with each DNS or MSiP system is provided as a Client, which is included in the price of the DNS Server software. Therefore each DNS or MSP system will require a minimum of one Server PC (dedicated) plus one Client PC (non-dedicated).
